New Whitepaper:

Over-The-Air (OTA) Updates

The Security Aspects and Benefits of OTA Updates Cannot be Overstated

One of the biggest concerns with OTA updates is the potential for security breaches during data transfer. aicas addresses this challenge by providing a multi-layered approach to security. Multiple as well as single application services can be easily provided, even at runtime, to ensure continuous operation. High portability through platform independence allows easy transfer of software to new vehicle models without major customization.

In our latest whitepaper on OTA updates, you will learn more about the importance of security and how the integration of AI in vehicles is made possible with OTA updates.

Data Collection for Vehicles in Practice

Why OSGi and Realtime Java Technology Succeed

Over 10 million vehicles in action confirm that using a managed language framework for in-vehicle data collection reduces costs, increases robustness and flexibility, and improves storage security. Decades of aicas experience have shown that OSGi technology, based on a realtime Java VM, is an ideal data collection platform for IoT devices.

In his talk at EclipseCon in October, our CTO, Dr. James J. Hunt, will share the latest insights into vehicle data collection in practice. He will demonstrate the benefits of managed runtimes and how OSGi and realtime Java technology can simplify software development, software lifecycle management, and OTA. We invite you to join the presentation or contact aicas directly to find out more.

Reflecting on a Wonderful Day With Team aicas on Tour!

Become a Member of the aicas Team!

The aicas team recently came together for our annual summer excursion. On a bright and sunny day, we embarked on a journey to explore the monastery in Frauenalb, catching up with each other while enjoying the history and beauty of the place. Following a delicious meal, we concluded our day trip at the Marxzell vehicle museum, a wonderful gem of automotive history. Everyone agreed it was an amazing day that created an abundance of shared memories.

A big thank you to all the participants and, of course, the organizers! In a world of extended home office, reuniting in person with all the teammates felt incredible. It highlighted once more how delightful it is to be part of this amazing group, working together and enjoying good company all year round.
