We are preparing for the next round of
industry gatherings. Embedded World in Nuremberg, Hannover Messe, and
Edge AI San Diego are just around the corner. AI is on everyone's
agenda, and we look forward to discussing how aicas helps transform Edge
and Physical AI into tangible business results. The question is: What
measurable outcomes can AI produce in daily operations?
At aicas, this direction is familiar to
us. For 25 years, we have been focusing on making edge technologies
deliver tangible business outcomes across industries worldwide. Whether
it was achieving shorter service times for aircraft arrivals or
standardizing and scaling software assets across global automotive
platforms, we have helped translate complex edge challenges into
measurable operational impact on numerous occasions.
Working in complex embedded environments
has shaped our approach from the beginning. As edge and cloud
architectures continue to converge, this foundation enables us to
deliver integrated edge-to-cloud and AI solutions built for reliable
performance in real-world systems.
I look forward to continuing these discussions with you in person.
Kind regards,
Johannes Biermann
President and COO
Meet aicas at Embedded World
Let’s talk about Physical AI in real-world embedded systems.
Meet
aicas at Embedded World in Nuremberg and join the conversation on how
Edge AI and Physical AI can be successfully deployed in real-world
embedded environments and how aicas helps turn AI into measurable
business value. Let’s talk about:
Making Physical AI operational at the edge
Enabling continuous AI DevOps through learning from real-world inference data
NXP integration: Unified automotive AI workflow with NXP eIQ® Auto and aicas EdgeSuite
Qualcomm integration: Expanding AI compute ecosystems
Selective edge data management enabling AI data analysis directly at the edge
Watch the aicas partner video on the NXP Partner Wall at the NXP booth (Hall 4A-222). We would be delighted to meet you there, watch the video together, and discuss your use cases and challenges.
To arrange a personal meeting, please contact us at contact@aicas.com. We look forward to meeting you at Embedded World.
aicas and NXP: Unified AI Workflows for Automotive
EdgeSuite now supports NXP eIQ® Auto SDK.
Together
with NXP, we have expanded our collaboration by integrating the NXP
eIQ® Auto SDK into the aicas EdgeSuite. As demonstrated at CES at the
NXP pavilion, this advancement provides automotive developers with a
unified, end-to-end workflow for designing, deploying, and continuously
improving AI models at the automotive edge.
Developers
can now combine NXP’s proven eIQ Auto SDK with EdgeSuite’s modular
edge-to-cloud infrastructure to manage software, data, and AI models in a
structured and scalable way.
This step further strengthens aicas’
long-standing support for NXP’s automotive platforms. A short
integration video will also be shown at Embedded World on the NXP
Partner Wall.
Edge AI, Physical AI, and what matters in practice.
CES
2026 once again showed how quickly the AI discussion is evolving.
Across automotive and industrial environments, the conversation is
moving beyond futuristic demos towards the practical question of how
intelligence can be embedded into physical systems and operated reliably
in real-world conditions.
In his CES recap,
aicas President & COO Johannes Biermann shares observations from
the show floor and explains why execution at the edge has become
critical. If you’re looking to make Edge AI operational in embedded
systems and unlock business benefits, read more about how aicas helps power Physical AI at the Edge.
Faster onboarding. Quicker Edge AI and software deployment via the cloud.
With the latest releases of aicas’ Edge Device Portal EDP and JamaicaVM,
aicas further simplifies and accelerates edge operations. Both updates
focus on usability, security, and faster time-to-value, enabling teams
to move from setup to productive edge deployments in minutes.
EDP 3.2
makes managing edge applications via the cloud more intuitive and
accessible. New interactive onboarding tours guide users hands-on
through key EDP functions while creating real runtimes. Combined with a
simplified EDP Agent download, setup time is reduced from minutes to
seconds, delivering a much smoother first-time experience for new and
existing users.
With JamaicaVM 8.11,
aicas strengthens its long-standing expertise in edge management. The
release includes the latest security patches with OpenJDK jdk8u472,
moves to Ubuntu 24.04 as host platform, and supports the largest
configuration matrix to date. This ensures secure, flexible, and
reliable management of edge software and Edge AI, even in
mission-critical environments.
At EDGE AI San Diego 2026, hosted by the
Edge AI Foundation, Michael Reimann, Head of Product and Solution
Architecture at aicas, will present “Reliable Edge AI Deployments:
Challenges and Strategies for Distributed, Resource-Constrained
Environments.” The session provides practical insights into overcoming
technical and operational challenges of running AI at the edge and
highlights proven strategies for reliable real-world deployments.
